Blue Jean Bash Photos!

Nearly 400 guests helped us celebrate our Third Annual Blue Jean Bash on September 23, 2017, at CU South Denver. Thanks to our sponsors, auction donors and those who gave in the special appeal, we raised $190,000+ (and counting!) for Clothes To Kids of Denver – our most successful year yet!

We had an especially photogenic crowd this year, so be sure to also check out our Shutterfly Photo Share Page to view, download and print photos from the event. Have some great shots to share? You can even upload your own photos!

Event guests were treated to a special video ‘Thank You’ from some of our Clothes To Kids shoppers:

Long-time Clothes To Kids supporter Mitch Jelnicker of Denver7 News, pictured here with his wife Kelly, served as our emcee and speaker for the evening. Thank you, Mitch!

Sponsor the Blue Jean Bash

For children and teens, clothing is more than a basic need – it’s key to their success in school. When students have quality clothing that helps them feel confident, they are more likely to attend school with the self-esteem needed to succeed academically. That’s why Clothes To Kids of Denver provides new and quality used clothing free of charge to Denver Metro students who are from low-income or in-crisis families.

We invite you to help us make a difference in our shopper’s lives by sponsoring our Blue Jean Bash, scheduled for Saturday evening, September 23, 2017, at CU South Denver (formerly, the Wildlife Experience).

For more information, please download our Sponsorship Information. Giving levels range from $500 to $25,000. We are also seeking items for our auctions. Questions? Please contact Valerie Lunka at val@clothestokidsdenver.org. Thank you for helping us clothe children and change their lives for the better!

Our honorary event chairs, Governor John W. Hickenlooper and First Lady Robin P. Hickenlooper, helped to make the evening a huge success. Robin served as our keynote speaker and gave an inspiring presentation. And to top it off, the Governor autographed a copy of his memoir, The Opposite of Woe: My Life in Beer and Politics, which sold to the highest bidder for $1,500!
