The past few months have been packed with exciting news and events at Clothes To Kids of Denver!
CTKD Awarded Two Major Grants
Clothes To Kids of Denver is thrilled to announce that it has received two major grants in the first quarter of 2012. In January, the Olson-Vander Heyden Foundation awarded CTKD a generous $10,000 Challenge Grant. Every dollar donated will be matched at 100% for up to a total of $20,000 and all donations received from now until we reach our goal will be placed in the fund. Click here to show your support!
In early March, The Denver Foundation awarded CTKD $8,500 for general operating support. Clothes To Kids is honored to partner with The Denver Foundation to further their goal of creating a community where all residents in Metro Denver have the opportunity for a high quality of life.
The funding from these foundations will allow Clothes To Kids to open an additional day each week starting in August, when the need for clothing among Denver’s youth is at its highest. This will help us to serve many more shoppers during the busy Back-to-School and holiday seasons. Thank you to these generous funders!
