Volunteer

Clothes To Kids of Denver needs your time, enthusiasm and expertise to keep our organization running. Our boutique is almost entirely volunteer operated, so your involvement is an essential component in allowing us to provide clothing to students in our community.

We are always happy to find new volunteers. Check out our Volunteer Opportunities to see all the different ways you can help support the mission of Clothes To Kids. We’d like to help you find a way to volunteer that is right for you.

 Who can volunteer?

  • Adult volunteers are always needed for any of the opportunities listed in the link above, especially during times when the store is open to serve shoppers. To maintain client privacy, volunteers must be 18 years of age or older and high school graduates to help shoppers in the front of the store. Please note that most volunteer positions for adults require a background check.
  • Youth volunteers are invited to process clothing donations at the store. Youth volunteers must be in 9th – 12th grade and may volunteer without an adult. Remote volunteer opportunities are available for youth in 5th – 8th grade. Any student under the age of 18 can become a Student Ambassador.
  • Groups of 3-10 people from businesses, clubs, congregations and community organizations are invited to serve at Clothes To Kids for one-time opportunities or on an on-going basis.

Volunteer shifts are available Tuesday – Saturday from 9am-4pm.

To learn more about volunteer opportunities, email Volunteer Coordinator Eileen Robinson at [email protected] and provide a brief description of who you are and what kind of volunteer opportunities you are interested in.

SPECIAL MESSAGE FOR YOUTH VOLUNTEERS: We have a limited number of openings for teen volunteers who are engaged by our mission and interested in giving back to the community. We are looking for volunteers who can make a minimum commitment of 12 hours/3 months.
